Private Room & Restaurant Event Space Maple Ridge

Thank you for considering Kingfishers Waterfront Bar & Grill as your place for gathering with family, friends, and colleagues. We want to make your private event with us a memorable one for you and your guests. Our team is ready to plan the perfect style of event you are looking for. We can accommodate a variety of events in several different spaces for private functions of 30-50 guests or can be combined for larger groups. Our max capacity is 200 guests for a complete booking of our Maple Ridge, BC establishment.

Our available space(s) and menu may vary depending on the style of service and the nature of your gathering. Our Chef and management team are available to consult through the process of creating the overall menu and experience you would like for the event.

Service & setup

Seated Lunch & Dinner Events:

  • Long tables and booths can be set with linens for a 3-6 course dining experience or a less formal lunch or dinner event. This format is excellent for holiday dinner parties, special occasions, corporate events, staff dinners, and those looking to have a complete full-service dining experience. Your guests are provided with a customized menu with plenty of options for them to choose from.

Cocktail Events:

  • For those looking for more of a social gathering, we can provide a cocktail reception complete with canapés, appetizers, and the like. These events are great for socializing amongst your group while providing comfort, great food, hospitality, and even entertainment if desired. These events have fewer tables and more space to mingle and congregate. Tables and chairs are spread about to provide comfortable areas to stand or have a seat and toast.

Bar Side Patio:

  • (Private) Seated 30-40 guests, Cocktail Events 30-50 guests (can be combined with Bar Lounge for a private event up to 80 guests)

Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass windows allow us to host private functions on our waterfront patio all year around. We can have them open for British Columbia summer days or closed and heated for those wintertime months. Guests for your event will be welcomed to the waterfront in style, and we will plan the event just how you like it.

Bar Lounge:

  • 20-40 guests (Semi-Private) High Top Tables, Bar Stools)
    (can be combined with Bar Lounge for up to 80 guests)

Located directly in front of our bar sidebar and 12 craft beer taps, this space features a 19’ long, high-top banquet with tinted live edge maple tables. Great for entertaining guests while enjoying the bar lounge atmosphere, often including live music or a good game.

Restaurant:

  • 50-75 Seats Includes booths and tables for 80 guests, plus an outdoor patio (covered or retracted) that can seat 30 guests.

Our restaurant has a more open seating area. Great for entertaining larger groups that may have speeches, live entertainment, and more formal events such as wine pairing dinners and receptions. It features high vaulted ceilings and a floor-to-ceiling view.

Courtyard Patio:

  • 25-50 guests

Our courtyard patio is located along the bank of the Fraser River in Maple Ridge, and it features a retractable awning for shelter and shade. It is an excellent spot for either seated dining or a cocktail event and often doubles as a bocce garden.
